The Mermaid

< While I was walking around by the swimmimg pool, at the Saint-Georges Marina in Beirut, I noticed that charming lady lying down in midday sun, when she suddenly put one foot on the other, casting that amazing shadow design, similar to a fish tail. I immediately thought that this was what sailors in the legend, after several months at sea, thought to be mermaids... perhaps simply a group of young ladies sunbathing in mid-summer :). I had to capture the scene very quickly since she kept her (quite uncomfortable) position for less than 10 secs.

Camera used was a very handy (and now defunct) Sony F-828 equipped with a superb Carl Zeiss  zoom lens equivalent to a 28~200mm.
