The Art of Viva Hakim Viva was raised up in an artistic family, and interested in arts from early years, painting, sculpture, drawing, music, opera, and dance. Graduated high school at only 15 years old, she studied History of art from 1988 to 1991, in parallel on law studies in a French private school et knows by heart all Parisian museums. Egypt, antic Rome, academic style or contemporary, she’s interested in all styles to create hers owns, with a predilection for impressionists. Viva starts exhibiting while she’s only 15, first in private exhibitions, some of them sponsored by universities, and then wins artistic contests organized by artistic boards through France and Europe. Her most favorite theme remains dancers, for fluidity, movement, lightness. She also loves portraits in which she studies mysteries of look to impress the viewer. She likes fine features, precise, meticulous, and tries to put life in each drawing. Viva uses mainly black pencil, charcoal, pencils, pastels, Indian ink and watercolor.
